Karen Taves is a founding employee at William E. Wecker Associates, Inc.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.

She has expertise in statistical and mathematical analysis of data. This expertise includes damage analysis; profitability and forecasting; human health and epidemiology including pharmaceutical drugs and consumer products; product safety; automobile safety and valuation; class certification; market analysis; evaluation of insurance claims including allocation among primary and excess insurance carriers; regression analysis; survival analysis; Bayesian analysis including imputation of missing data, forecasting; and big data analysis.
