Stephen Hoff is a Vice President and Principal Consultant of William E. Wecker Associates, Inc., now based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Oberlin College, Ohio, and the M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He was one of the founding employees of William E. Wecker Associates, Inc.
He has accumulated 30 years of experience in applied mathematics and statistical analysis of problems arising in business, regulation, and litigation. He has developed data sources and performed numerous analyses in the areas of employment discrimination, automotive safety and field performance, mass tort claims projections, mortgage backed securities, pharmaceutical adverse events, product defects, antitrust, and intellectual property matters.
His expertise includes statistical sampling and survey design, regression analysis, large data set mining, and graphical data display and visualization.
